I live and work in rural East Sussex, painting in my garden studio. I work in both watercolour and oils, painting on paper or wood.
For many years I have worked for Dragons of Walton Street, a prestigious company specialising in children's painted furniture. During this time I have developed many successful designs ,notably Barbara's Bunnies, Teddy Bear's Picnic and more recently Blossom and Butterflies and I have painted them on to everything from hairbrushes to wardrobes.
More recently I have exhibited my small vivid paintings on wood, which depict subjects from the natural world, and have influences from Greek and Byzantine icons and medieval tapestries. Primarily though they reflect my love of the flowers and wildlife found on my travels and in the woods and Downs of Sussex.
I produce greeting cards and christmas cards from some of these designs. I also paint name pictures for babies and children.
